There is a preference for what Photo Mechanic will do when you plug in a memory cardĬhoosing to Show Ingest dialog will enable you to get the Ingest process going as soon as possible, and is often the best option for most people. After you do that, you will be able to scroll through images quickly and use Photo Mechanic to decide which images are keepers and which are rejects. This is the safest option, and we’ll explain why below. Our recommendation for best practice is to copy the entire contents from your memory card to your main local hard drive or SSD.
